Anna’s acting experience spans spunky ingenues like Sarah Brown (Guys and Dolls), romantic heroines like Juliet & Hermia (Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream), jellicle kitties like Jellylorum (Cats), practical leading ladies like The Baker’s Wife (Into the Woods), and train-wrecks like Meg Magrath (Crimes of the Heart,)
Anna received a BA in Musical Theater from West Texas A&M University. She continued her acting education under the mentorship of The Juilliard School of Drama alumnus Joseph Muzikar, (“Act with URGENCY, Anna!!”) with an emphasis on classical texts and styles.
Her most recent performance was the role of Cassie Flowers in the Off-Broadway Premiere of The Long Rail North by Michael Hagins. Originally produced as a part of the NYC Fringe Festival, The Long Rail North received critical acclaim and was selected for an extension Off-Broadway at The Soho Playhouse.
Her film work has received international acclaim, snagging her a nomination for "Best Lead Actress" from the Nice International Film Festival for her work in My Name is Leigh.
As a vocalist, Anna has trained in musical theater, classical, and jazz styles, — even performing for two years with a Jazz Band dedicated to Glenn Miller standards.
True to her nerd roots, Anna embraced any opportunity to learn fight choreography for the stage, acquiring her lvl 1 certification in beginning broadsword from DAI.
